Gutenberg was a German artisan and inventor and is best known for the Gutenberg press, his innovative printing press machine that used a movable form. It remained the standard up until the 20th century. Gutenberg made printing inexpensive.
The format can easily handle high resolution photos thanks to PNGs' high color depth. Since it is a lossless web format, however, file sizes tend to get very big. For the screen, PNG graphics are optimized. You could definitely print a PNG, but with a JPEG (lossy) or a TIFF file, you'd be better off.

Today, average inkjet printers generally have a 1200 x 1440 dpi resolution. If you're not going to print photos larger than 5 x 7 inches, this is a good enough resolution.
To operate printers used to output documents from a computer, there is no need for online access. It can be printed without an Internet connection provided that the document or file to be printed is stored on a local hard drive or on a local network.
You can access your document history when this feature is enabled by opening the Devices and Printers menu, right-clicking the printer that you are currently using, and selecting the See What's Printing tab that appears in the associated menu.
Re-create the PDF if you have the original source file from which the PDF was created. In the original program, open the file (like a word processor or a page layout program). Select File > Print, then select the option to save the file as a PDF. Open your new PDF file and try to print it again.
